The Liceo Scientifico e Linguistico ëLeonardoí in Agrigento is situated on a hilly area of the small city, overlooking the Vally of the Temples and the Mediterranean Sea.
The school was the first scientific high school in Agrigento, founded in 1957, with a total of only 64 students.
In 1974 the school offered experimental courses in foreign languages, classical and scientific studies and art courses that students could choose from.
Today the school has only two courses of study in science and foreign languages (English, French and German), and has an attendance of over 1,400 students. Quite an increase from when it first opened.
Since the school is in an archeological site it cannot be ampliphied to accommodate all the students so to compensate for extra classrooms there is a secondary school complex not to far from the main complex.
During the two years of our project each country should do 24 individual mobilities. We have scheduled different trips where both teachers and students participating in TFT will develop project work and do cultural visits.
